Definition Tenses

In grammar, tense means time. The tense of a verb indicates the time of the action or the time of the state of condition .  The time is not always the same as that indicated by the name of the tense. The time tell you when the action happened, either in the past, in the present, or in the future.

Example :

Simple present tense : my father go to work
Simple past tense : my father went to work
Simple future tense : my father will go to work
Present continues tense : my father is going to work
Past continues tense : my father was going to work
Future continues tense : my father will be going to work
Present perfect continues : my father has gone to work
Past perfect continues : my father had gone to work
Future perfect continues : my father will have gone to work

Simple present tense : darto take some candy
Simple past tense : darto took some candy
Simple future tense : darto will take some candy
Present continues tense : darto is taking some candy
Past continue tense : darto was taking some candy
Future continues tense : darto will be taking some candy
Present perfect continues : darto has taken some candy
Past perfect continues : darto had taken some candy
Future perfect continues : darto will have taken some candy

Simple present tense : stars suddenly hit satellite
Simple past tense : stars suddenly hit satellite
Simple future tense : stars suddenly will hit satellite
Present continues tense : stars suddenly is hitting satellite
Past continues tense : stars suddenly was hitting satellite
Future continues tense : stars suddenly will be hitting satellite
Present perfect continues : stars suddenly have hitting satellite
Past perfect continues : stars suddenly had been hitting satellite
Future perfect continues : stars suddenly will have hit satellite

Simple present tense : i need your help
Simple past tense : i needed your help
Simple future tense : i will need your help
Present continues tense : i'm needing your help
Past continues tense : i was needing your help
Future continues tense : i will be needing your help
Present perfect continues : i have needed your help
Past perfect continues : i had needed your help
Future perfect continues : i will have needed your help

Simple present tense : you give me opportunity
Simple past tense : you gave me opportunity
Simple future tense : you will give me opportunity
Present continues tense : you are giving me opportunity
Past continues tense : you was giving me opportunity
Future continues tense : you will be giving me opportunity
Present perfect continues : you have given me opportunity
